Common questions
Where are my notes stored?
In a hidden .ProNotes file inside each folder. It's plain Markdown, so you can open it in any text editor β ProNotes picks up your edits.
Do sub-folders show the parent's note?
No. Each folder has its own note; add one to a sub-folder if you want it there.
Can I use ProNotes on more than one computer?
Yes β the store lets you install it on your own computers with the same Apple ID or Microsoft account. Notes in a synced folder (iCloud Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox) come along with the folder.
How do I remove a note?
Delete the folder's .ProNotes file, or remove all its tasks.
